What resources do you provide besides services?
Birth clients have access to our lending library of books which include birth, pregnancy, breastfeeding, partner support, and more.
Each birth client receives 4-5 workbooks about birth, postpartum, newborn care, breastfeeding, VBAC support, and our Trimester by Trimester guidebook. These workbooks contain around 17-30 pages each and are great reference points especially for new parents. They will also receive monthly pregnancy updates, our Unravel Your Birth course, and all things mentioned in our birth services.
Postpartum clients – depending on when booking my services – will also receive the 4-5 workbooks, a postpartum recovery guide + birth story journal, a gift basket for postpartum care, a thank-you-for-choosing-me-to-be-your-doula gift and all things mentioned in our postpartum services.
Why should I choose you as my doula?
You should choose me as your doula because I care. I know, I know, that’s easy for anyone to say and the smallest reason but it’s real.
I truly care how your birth and postpartum unfold. I will treat you as though I would my best friend. My heart is open with pure joy and love even if we have just met. It may just be the Cancer side of me but taking care of others is what I love to do. This birth and postpartum work makes me truly and utterly happy to be able to support a mom and dad in the most beautiful yet stressful time of their life.
I have had three different childbirths myself which 2 out of 3 did not go smoothly. I know what it is like to have the support system vs not having the support system.

How do we begin working with twyned doulas?
To start your journey with Twyned Doulas, the first step is for us to meet and connect. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and see if we’re a perfect match for your needs and aspirations. Once we decide that we’re a great fit and ready to move forward, we’ll sign our contract together, and a retainer of $250(birth) or 50% upfront (postpartum) will be due.
Once these steps are completed, our services will officially begin, and we’ll be honored to join you on this beautiful path.
How do you describe your doula style?
My doula style is calm, collective, and I lean into your actions. I will not push you into changing positions but will suggest positions that may be beneficial based on the stage of labor you are in or how you are reacting to pain. I am hands on if you ask for me to be but will also give you your space.
If you have loved ones coaching you as well, I will make sure they are taken care of. That could be giving them water, asking if they need something to eat, calming them down, or showing them how to support you.
I am not a cheerleader that yells during pushing but rather a cheerleader that says you’ve got this and gives you the mirror to see your baby’s head coming earthside.
Being informed is big, big, big. I will not be loud and angry toward providers but I will speak out loud for them to hear me.
